About two months ago, I made the bold decision to step away from my social media accounts and embark on a new journey—or, perhaps, restart an old one.

The older I’ve gotten, the less confident I’ve become. It is exponentially harder for me to take risks. To go on a limb, or just do it as I’ve grown up.

Alot comes to mind when I wrap my head around the fact I’ve been practicing, crafting, building, creating something for 10 years.

The last time I tried creating I was sitting in our apartment in the dark. Only tea light candles illuminated the room. There was no power and not much else to do so I tried putting something down in my sketchbook.
